The one I always remember is back when David Coleman was commentating on a women's track race and he said now she is opening her legs and really showing her class.

The Coleman commentary was in a men's race featuring Alberto Juantorena: "the big Cuban opens his legs and shows his class"

The bowler’s Holding the batsman’s Willey
Not sure how ‘accidental’ it was though, the old rascal

I think that happened several times during the series. On one occasion Johnson surpassed himself with, 'the bowler's Holding, the batman's Willey...(long comedic pause) and the other batsman's Knott.

Actually, through the miracle of ESPN CricInfo, I can say that the 'the other batsman's Knott' thing couldn't have happened, since they were never at the wicket together during that series. However, there were several times when it could have been, 'the next batsman's Knott'.
Oh well, sometimes the apocryphal story is far better than the truth, so let's not tell anyone...

Not sure how accidental it was when Aggers told Brian Johnson that Botham couldnt quite get his leg over when he was describing his hit wicket dismissal.

I remember a commentator saying that Asa Hartford was playing "Wholeheartedly" only to apologise 20 seconds later as Hartford had just been diagnosed with a hole in the heart

Always thought it a shame we didn't sign a couple of Germans back in the day. Dicks, Fuchs, Kuntz would have been commentary gold.

Was watching a live match this season which involved the red scouse, Robert Green was one of the commentary team and actually called TAA Trent Alexander Arsehole.
Great Freudian slip.

Raised a laugh when a commentator said that during an England match at the 2002 World Cup.
